UBS to Report Net Fourth-Quarter Loss of About $11.4 Billion
Jan. 30 (Bloomberg) -- UBS AG, Europe's largest bank by assets, plans to report a fourth-quarter net loss of 12.5 billion Swiss francs ($11.4 billion) after mortgage-related writedowns in the U.S. of about $14 billion.
UBS will post a net full-year loss of 4.4 billion francs ($4 billion), the Zurich-based bank said today in an e-mailed statement.
