Consumer confidence slips again in April
LONDON (Reuters) - Consumer morale edged lower for a second straight month in April, a survey showed on Friday, pointing to less demand for big purchases and concerns about the economic outlook ahead of next week's election. The GfK NOP survey, conducted on behalf of the European Commission, gave an overall consumer confidence index score of -16, down one point from March but well above the -27 recorded in April last year.
