UK retailer leaks Samsung Galaxy Alpha, specs revealed

A UK retailer seems to have listed Samsung's rumoured Galaxy Alpha smartphone by accident, leaking specs and a home-soil price tag.
Mobilefun, a smartphone vendor, posted, and swiftly removed, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha listing, but not before The Inquirer spied the juicy details...

According to the leak, UK customers will be able to pre-order the carrier-unlocked device for higher-end mark-up of £549, which pits it against similarly priced smartphones like the iPhone 5S and Samsung's own Galaxy S5.
The phone looks set to tout a hefty octa-core Exynos 5 processor, a 12MP camera with 'super fast' autofocus, and 32 gigs of storage.
The phone will also feature a 4.7-in super AMOLED display with a 1280 x 720 resolution, racking up a decent 320ppi pixel density.
The phone promises 4G/LTE capability, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, GPS, and a micro USB port. There's also a secondary 2.1MP shooter for front-facing snaps.
According to the listing, the smartphone comes sporting a 'metallic finish' in line with recent rumours of a metal side-trim, and reveals a black colour option.
Unfortunately, the misplaced product description didn't offer a release date, and there were no images of the device included either, so we don't have the whole story just yet.
We've already seen leaked pics of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha though, and considering how finalised the new phone details are, it's likely that a launch date isn't far off.
