New website instantly checks nearby Apple Stores for available iPhone 5s stock

With 9 million people around the world already having bought new iPhones by the end of their debut weekend, one might think supply would now be catching up to demand. That’s not the case, however, and people are still lining up around the country to buy Apple’snew iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. customers again, a new website created by developer Mordy Tikotzky makes it unbelievably simple to check all nearby Apple Stores for available iPhone 5s stock.

Dubbed simply “iPhone Check,” the site is incredibly easy to use. Simply enter your zip code and select an iPhone 5s color and carrier. Then click submit and the site will return results from the 20 closest Apple Stores in a grid. 16GB, 32GB and 64GB stock will be indicated by a green check box while depleted inventory will be shown by red “X” box.

And here is another search for gold AT&T iPhone 5s models in and around New York City:

The latter is still impossible to come by at Apple Stores, as can be seen above, but the silver model appears to finally be finding its way to U.S. shores.
